We are a European company and GDPR is at our core. Our data protection approach builds on three pillars, utilising both technology and work processes to ensure a best in class result.

We use the camera as a sensor, not recording device. Unlike current video monitoring systems that store all video captured, Buddywise AI analyses video feeds in real time and without storing data. The system only processes the minimum level of data required to capture events - in many cases we remove the person fully and use only key points. No facial recognition is used and we never identify subjects. All statistical output is aggregated and reported as visual or tabular data without any Personally Identifiable Data (PID).

We apply pseudonymisation and encrypt all data going into our system, both when in transit and at rest. We’re using Transport Layer Security (TLS) as well as secure server-side encryption with advanced encryption levels including unique keys to protect the data at all times, leaving you feeling safe with your data. 

Data is fully segregated for each customer and strict Identity and Access Management (IAM) is used to control data access. 

We have taken the necessary technical and organisational measures to comply with GDPR and we only process data within the EU/EAA. For each customer, we jointly review requirements set out in a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) before the system is launched as well as actively support in Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA). We are committed to protect the workers best with as little data collection as possible. 

The backbone of our platform is based on services that are certified to ISO27001 and SOC 2.
