Buddywise signs agreement with pioneering paper manufacturer Munksjö

We are thrilled to announce our newest customer, Swedish Munksjö Group and their operations in Dettingen Germany. This new partnership also marks our first site implementation in Germany, marking a significant milestone for Buddywise.

Historically, paper production plants face significant health and safety challenges due to the complexity and scale of their operations. Employees work with large, advanced machinery that can pose serious risks if not managed properly. The Munksjö plant in Dettingen is now setting sight on becoming an industry leader in this regard with Buddywise’s state-of-the-art system.

How We Make a Difference

The Buddywise safety system leverages video analytics and machine learning algorithms to detect unsafe conditions and actions before they result in accidents. Automated monitoring supports safety protocol compliance by overseeing various risk scenarios, such as protective equipment use, vehicle control (e.g. forklift near-hits), and area control (including climbing on machinery). The system identifies deviations from safe operating procedures in real-time, enabling immediate corrective actions and facilitating long-term safety improvements.
